I watched the programme “How to be a Good Mother” yesterday on the 4OD catch up service and it made me think.... what is the best way to bring up children?

If you saw the programme what were your thoughts on the mother’s methods? And if not how do you think children should be brought up? Do you think they need to spend all their time outdoors or should they be surrounded by technology? Do you think they need to be constantly monitored and tested or as toddlers should they be left to develop they social skills through play and formal learning should be left until they go to school?
