The EYN Partnership are heading to Childcare Expo Manchester with some brand-new activities to get creative with!
12th April 2018
Now April is here, we feel fortunate to be able to reflect on what a productive and engaging start to 2018 we’ve had, and we’re excited to share what’s still to come!
We’re counting down the days to Childcare Expo, with the next show taking place up north in Manchester. We’ll be exhibiting once again between 15th and 16th June, 10am-4pm at EventCity, and we really hope to see you all there!
Despite showcasing at three previous Childcare Expos – the Midlands and Manchester last year, and London in March 2018, our second stint in Manchester is taking a slightly different direction – the Nutrition Area we’re proud to be creating and hosting as part of the shows Health and Wellbeing Zone! We think this area is set to be engaging for children and adults alike, and we can’t wait to see everyone turning green-fingered to sow their very own pea plants. Our trusty mascot, the EYN Pea, will have some competition…
Caring for the environment is a priority for us at EYN Partnership, so there’ll be no shortage of eco-friendly crafts, such as vegetable peelings, which you’ll be able to use to produce some creative designs centred on eating well. Getting stuck into artwork is a fantastic step towards living a happy and healthy lifestyle, while having fun in the process.
And the fun doesn’t stop there – we’re also running a healthy eating ukulele showcase! Delegates will have the opportunity to join forces with Ben Faulks, also known as Mr Bloom from CBeebies, in our interactive group session where Ben will teach you how to play EYN Partnership’s ‘The Healthy Eating Song’ on the ukulele. This simple song has proven rather catchy which makes it the perfect choice for early years practitioners and parents to sing along with the children. The brainchild of Ben Faulks and award-winning composer Richie Webb, ‘The Healthy Eating Song’ uses the power of music to teach young children about the importance healthy eating and staying active. We’ve been blown away by the success of the song and look forward to bringing it to the Manchester Expo too.
We’re not just at the Health & Wellbeing Zone – as always, you’ll be able to catch up with us at our exhibition stand, so do drop by at stand G44. Our team will be there across the two days, so whenever you’re there, we will be too!
In the run-up to Childcare Expo Manchester – or at any time in fact! – feel free to get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org if there’s anything we can assist with. But in the meantime, we’re excited to meet more of you in Manchester, so don’t forget to register!
